Hogtown Swing is dedicated to the preservation, promotion and progression of authentic jazz dance and is a major contributor of swing dancing in Toronto.
The Hogtown Swing Performance Team featuring multiple American Swing Dance champion and choreographer Dan Amores and Joanna Kassoulides, specialize on the re-creation of dances from the swing era including Swing, Lindy Hop, Charleston, Flapper, Rock n’ Roll etc. They have performed in and outside of the GTA. Hogtown Swing Performers have also been seen at jazz festivals all over Ontario and on television specials (CBC, CTV, MuchMusic, W network etc) and dance entertainment/expertise for movies in front of and behind the cameras. Hogtown Swing also provides entertainment for corporate events, weddings and parties as well as ongoing classes throughout the week at the Hogtown Swing Dance Studio. Visit website

Zahra’s School of Belly Dancing
Zahra’s School specializes in everything belly dance, including belly dance classes, costumes, jewelry and music. Today, Zahra’s School has over 1,500 students, and is represented throughout Durham, York, Greater Toronto Area and Peel Regions. The School is represented in the International Belly Dance front by hosting workshops/events that feature international belly dance celebrities and participating in performances sponsored by International Belly Dance organizations. It has won many awards, including the Reader’s Choice awards for 5 consecutive years and has appeared on many media outlets including CityTV, Rogers TV, The Toronto Sun and the Ajax/Pickering paper.
