Nimisha Raja, Evolving Appetites
Nimisha has been vegetarian from birth and evolved into a vegan more 14 years ago. She has been an active volunteer for the Toronto Vegetarian Association for the past 15 years, and has taught classes at Loblaws and Whole Food Markets cooking schools. She is also a Heart Health Speaker and Cancer Prevention and Survival educator for the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. Nimisha has appeared on numerous TV and radio stations promoting a healthy plant-based lifestyle.
David Sztybel, Ph.D.
David Sztybel earned his doctorate in animal ethics from the University of Toronto and did a post-doctoral fellowship at Queen’s University, and has lectured there, at Brock University, and at the University of Toronto. He is the author of numerous scholarly articles and has a forthcoming book in October 2010, entitled Universal Animal Rights:
Winning the Ethical Debate.
